(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Washington, Tel Aviv and Riyadh are attempting to breakdown the resistance in Yemen and buy time in order to achieve “whatever regime change they want,” Hesham Tillawi, host of Current Issues TV & Radio said.
Tillawi believes that Mossad and the CIA are the main organizations actively working behind the scene, to destabilize Yemen.
They will “not allow Yemen to go back to the Yemeni people, to go back to democracy,” he added.
Moreover, tens of thousands of Yemenis have taken to the streets in the capital, Sana'a, and Taizz to call for an end to the foreign interference in their countries domestic affairs.
Demonstrators also called for the immediate resignation of Saleh and the formation of a transitional council to rule the country and to prevent Saleh from returning to power.
However, Tillawi doubts that Saleh would return to Yemen, saying that the US and Saudi Arabia are in search of a new regime, beneficial to their interest.
Saleh has been hanging on to power despite months of anti-regime demonstrations against his 33-year rule in Yemen.
